How to set up your counselor account

Setting up your counselor page on Leshya is something you do yourself, at your own pace. It takes about fifteen minutes, and you can save and come back anytime. This guide walks through each step so you know what to expect before you start.

You do the whole thing in one place. Until your page is live, everything sits inside the setup flow, so there is nothing to hunt for.

Create your account

Start by creating your account with your email and a six digit code we send you, or sign in with Google or Microsoft. On the sign up screen, choose the counselor tab so we set up the right kind of page for you.

Build your profile

This is the page clients will see. You add a photo, your name, your title, your mobile number, and your gender. You also choose your page address, which is the link people will use to reach you.

Then you write a short bio in your own words and pick the languages you work in. If you have a short intro video, you can add its link here too, though that part is optional.

Add your credentials

Next comes your professional background. If you are registered with the RCI, you enter your registration number here. You can also add your experience and qualifications, which help clients understand who they are booking.

The one required part is your areas of expertise. Choose up to four, so clients searching for what you do can find you. Experience and education can be added later from your dashboard if you would rather move on.

Set up your sessions

Here you connect a calendar so booked sessions land in the right place. Connect Google Calendar, which adds a Google Meet link to each online session, or Microsoft Teams, which adds a Teams link. You connect one at a time.

If you also see clients in person, add your session address in this step. That is what unlocks in person offerings later.

You need at least one of these, a connected calendar or a saved address, before you can move on to the next step.

Create your offerings and set your availability

An offering is a session type clients can book: its name, how long it runs, the price, and whether it is online, in person, or both. You can offer individual, couple, or group sessions. Create at least one to go live.

Then set your weekly availability. Tick the days you work and add your hours, or tap use standard hours to start from a nine to five, Monday to Friday week and adjust from there.

Submit for review

When your details are in, you submit your page for review. A real person checks it, usually within one to two business days, and we let you know the moment it is approved. There is no plan to buy and no fee to go live. Once approved, your page is published straight away.

When clients can book you

Being published means your page is live at its address. Being bookable means clients can pick a time, and that needs a little more: at least one live offering, your availability set, and for online sessions a connected calendar, or for in person sessions your saved address.

With those in place you appear in the directory, in search, and in find your match. If something is still missing, your page stays reachable by its direct link while you finish, so nothing is lost.
