A good FAQ removes a specific obstacle to booking. It should answer the question in a few sentences, then stop. Start with questions clients actually ask you.
Prioritize booking questions
Useful topics include how to choose a session, whether you meet online or in person, when an address is shared, and what happens after a booking. Refer to your actual offerings and policies rather than writing one answer for every counselor.
Make the first-session answer concrete
You might explain how you begin a conversation, whether someone needs to prepare, and that they can ask questions. Do not imply that every first session follows the same script.
Keep one clear FAQ section
If the site already has Good to know, use it for the practical answers. A second FAQ section with the same questions makes the page harder to scan. Review answers whenever your sessions or policies change.
Example answer
For “Do I need to know what to say in our first session?”, a clear answer could be: “No. We can begin with one recent moment or with the question that brought you here. I will explain how I work and you can ask about anything unclear.” Change those words to match your real practice. An FAQ is useful because it answers the question directly, not because it sounds polished.
