A Leshya gift card is a warm way to give someone a counseling session. The person who buys it pays online, and the person who receives it gets a code by email. That code pays for sessions with any counselor on Leshya.
If someone has sent you one, this page walks through how to use it, what it covers, and what happens to any balance left over.
How to use your gift card
You use the code when you book. Pick a counselor and a time that suits you, then on the booking details step open "Have a gift card?" and enter your code. If the balance covers the session, your booking is marked as paid right away. There is no separate payment step, and the counselor does not need to approve it.
You do not need any special account, and the code is what carries the value.
What a gift card covers
A gift card covers a full session, up to the balance on the card. So a card with ₹1,500 on it can pay for any session priced at ₹1,500 or less.
If a session costs more than the balance, the card covers the whole session or none of it, not part. When that happens you choose a session within your balance instead. This keeps it clear: a gift card pays for a full session, never half of one.
Your leftover balance
When a session costs less than your balance, the difference stays on the card. A ₹1,500 card used for a ₹1,000 session leaves ₹500 on the same code for next time.
You can keep using the code across several sessions until the balance runs out. Whatever is left is always shown when you apply the code at booking, so you never have to guess.
Expiry and a few things worth knowing
A gift card is valid for 12 months from the day the payment is confirmed. Any balance left after that expires.
Gift cards can only become sessions on Leshya. They do not convert to cash and cannot be moved to a bank account. Amounts range from ₹500 to ₹10,000.
